About Our Agents

The Associates M&A, Inc., have offices in Burbank and in Beverly Hills. The company has been providing a spectrum of business brokerage and intermediary services since 1996. The current owners bring decades of business and legal experience under one banner. Collectively, the owners are Certified Business Intermediaries, Certified Business Brokers, Mergers & Acquisitions Master Intermediaries, licensed Brokers, an Attorney, and Realtors. They also are members of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) as well as the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) and the Southern California Association of Business Brokers (SCBBN). The IBBA is the largest network of business intermediaries in the world. CABB is the premier business broker network throughout all of California, while the SCBBN network focuses on Southern California only. The depth of our local, state, nationwide, and worldwide affiliations result in a massive number of qualified buyers and investors coming in contact with every business we represent. Laszlo Nemeth, CBI, CBB, M&AMI

Laszlo Nemeth is the Broker on record at the Associates M & A, Inc. Laszlo has lived and worked in the Los Angeles area for the past 25 years. Laszlo has a diverse European background as he was born in Budapest, Hungary and has lived in Italy and New York. During the past 35 years, Laszlo has worked closely with the ex-chairman of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Laszlo has owned and operated a wide variety of businesses, and now is a major player in business investing. Laszlo has a Master’s Degree in Winery Management and Wine Making. Laszlo has now turned all of his talents and attentions to all aspects of Business Brokerage. Laszlo specializes in the marketing and sale of businesses in Los Angeles and nationwide. Laszlo holds the designations of Certified Business Intermediary and Certified Business Broker. Laszlo has just received the prestigious Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary Certification (M&AMI). Currently there are only about 70 certified M&AMI’s in the entire country. Laszlo is a member of the M&A Source, International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB) as well as the Southern California Association of Realtors (SRAR). Laszlo’s interests include scuba diving at his vacation home in Belize, and plays golf at the Braemar Country Club, where he is a member.

Neil P. White, J.D., CBI, Series 79 & 63

Neil White is a licensed transactional attorney, a real estate broker, a Certified Business Intermediary, and holds a Series 79 investment banking federal securities registration. He has over 20 years of experience in structuring complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. He has both a financial and legal background that encompasses an array of both national and international business matters, and he has a depth of experience in sophisticated real estate transactions. Neil lived in Viet Nam where he was the Managing Director of a US$250,000,000 investment management company that structured U.S. and foreign investments in Viet Nam, Thailand, and Cambodia. In the U.S., he has been instrumental in procuring and structuring in excess of US$100,000,000 of complex equity and lender financings for numerous motion pictures. Moreover, he once served as a key executive in a successful Beverly Hills real estate development company that, at one time, was one of the fastest growing real estate companies in California. He previously practiced real estate and entertainment law with the prestigious law firm of Rudin & Appel, in Beverly Hills, and practiced transactional law with a focus on real estate at the international law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, in Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona, and his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of San Francisco, where he was a Senior Member of Law Review. Neil also was honored by being selected as an Intern for Justice Malcolm Lucas at the California Supreme Court. One of Neil’s passions is high altitude mountaineering.

Steve Nemenyi, CBI, CBB

Steve Nemenyi comes to the Associates Business Brokers with many years of Real Estate and Business experience to serve his clients. Steve has owned and operated many different types of businesses, some of these being Bars, Nightclubs, Office Equipment Sales & Service Company as well as numerous other entrepreneurial adventures. He understands the wants and needs of a first time buyer or seller and is motivated to bring the confidence that is needed to make you feel assured that you are making an educated decision. Prior to coming to the Associates Business Brokers, Steve was a successful agent in residential and commercial sales for one of the largest real estate companies in Southern California. Currently, Steve is a member of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), The California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), the Southern California Business Brokers Network (SCBBN) as well as the Southern California Association of Realtors (SCAR).Steve holds the designations of Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) from the IBBA, along with being a Certified Business Broker (CBB) from CABB. He now focuses all of his time and efforts on Business Brokerages and looks forward to taking care of all your Business needs. Steve’s hobbies include golfing, repairing and racing his gas powered remote control cars, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, Scuba diving, golf when time allows, and attending Concerts at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip.
